Getting started

The path

This is the only supported first-run. Invite acceptance and password setup stay on the website. The IDE never collects secrets.

• Request access at orcaesb.com/contact. After we review, accept the Clerk invite email, set a password on app.orcaesb.com/sign-up (invite link only), and land on Setup (app.orcaesb.com/onboarding).
• Import orca-cockpit-vault.biscuit.yaml on Setup (primary), or save Cursor and Anypoint field by field on Vault (/settings). Add Salesforce, GitHub, or Postman if you need them.
• Download Orca Cockpit for Mac or Windows from Setup.
• In the app, choose Sign in with the same email. You land in Ask.
• Your first Project is created on first Setup visit as t3.large (2 vCPU · 8 GiB). One Project is one dedicated Linux VM plus its filesystem. orcaesb.com/access lists Projects. Extra Projects come from Orca Cockpit IDE.

What “ready” looks like

Setup shows vault Ask-ready, plan, and default Project status. Account is the hub after that. Desktop Sign in opens Ask against the live tenant once Cursor + Anypoint keys are set. A Project starts as queued, may move to provisioning, then ready with a noVNC URL when infra is configured.

If you only want to chat first

You can Sign in and use Ask after the vault has Cursor + Anypoint. The website creates your first Project on first Setup visit — clone a repo, finish OAuth, or run a build on that VM. Extra Projects come from Orca Cockpit IDE.
